Comentario sobre I Crónicas 11:4
וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ דָּוִ֧יד וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם הִ֣יא יְב֑וּס וְשָׁם֙ הַיְבוּסִ֔י יֹשְׁבֵ֖י הָאָֽרֶץ׃
Entonces se fué David con todo Israel á Jerusalem, la cual es Jebus; y allí era el Jebuseo habitador de aquella tierra.
Rashi on I Chronicles
And David... went, etc. He went immediately to war when all Israel crowned him, so that Israel should not say [that in] all the wars that David waged in the days of Saul and was victorious it was Saul’s luck, and that he was now afraid to fight. Therefore he immediately went to war.
